Mrs. Linares
This is my seventh year teaching fourth grade and I honestly love every minute of it! Room 29 is always buzzing with hard work, energy, and curiosity! Our class works together to create a positive, cooperative, and honest atmosphere where we are all able to learn, grow, and become more independent. Along with teaching fourth grade, I am also a member of Potter Road’s Data Team, Wellness Committee, and PBIS Team.
I absolutely love to learn new things inside and outside of school! I received my bachelor’s degree from Framingham State University in Elementary Education and the English Language Arts. Soon after, I obtained my master’s degree in their Literacy and Language program. I also became SEI certified in the fall of 2014. Most recently, I completed an administrative internship at Potter Road in February 2017 and soon after obtained my Principal/Assistant Principal license in July 2017.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, music, traveling, spending time with my family and friends, cooking/baking, and being active (I ran the Boston Marathon in April 2012)! My husband and I absolutely love to travel! We have cruised the Caribbean islands, explored various countries in Europe, got married in Mexico, spent our honeymoon in San Francisco, and enjoyed a family vacation to Colorado! I’m also a huge sports fan and I make sure to follow all of our fabulous Boston/New England teams!
My husband and I welcomed our first bundle of joy in September 2015 and we are loving every second of it! Each day is a new adventure and it’s been so much fun watching her grow!
